The city of Bad Lausick is home to the Saxon Brazz Philharmonic, an ensemble that is unique in the German orchestra landscape.
The Saxon Brazz Philharmonic is the only orchestra with a symphonic brazz ensemble and therefore occupies a special position.
Since 2021, Austrian-born Peter Sommerer has led the Saxon Brazz Philharmonic as chief conductor and artistic director.

Brú na Bóinne (irisch für „Palast des Boyne“, eigentlich „Palast der weißen Kuh“, ist eine im Tal des Boyne (Boyne Valley), nördlich von Dublin im County Meath, Republik Irland, gelegene große Ansammlung prähistorischer Kultstätten, die zwischen 3500 und 2500 v. Brú na Bóinne, Palace of the Boyne or Mansion of the Boyne) is an area in County Meath, Ireland, located in a bend of the River Boyne. It contains one of the world's most important prehistoric landscapes dating from the Neolithic period, including the large Megalithic passage graves of Knowth, Newgrange and Dowth as well as some 90 additional monuments.
Since 1993 the site has been a World Heritage Site designated by UNESCO, known since 2013 as "Brú na Bóinne - Archaeological Ensemble of the Bend of the Boyne".
