When the roads are plowed, and the temperatures are just a few degrees below zero - it is the perfect time to get out and enjoy a winter drive in Alaska. Doc and I take mini-vacations as often as possible, during the long dark days of winter. It is fun to get out of the cabin and talk with other folks that live in the Alaska bush.
I shot this at Mile 105 of the Tok Cutoff Road. It is a beautiful area no matter what time of year you choose to visit.
