I love how this one came out! It took a lot of hard work. It is loosely based off of the BF3 engineer class. But mainly this fig was built to show off my Ak-47 mod. Enoy!

GBRf class 66/7 no. 66729 'Derby County' heads a Civil Engineers' working, 6G40 from Cramlington to Doncaster Belmont, past Copmanthorpe on 30th September 2025.

Engineer (Young) Will Lovelace calls for permission through a work authority on the Philly Sub from the cab of Q032. Will's dad was an Erie, and later NJT conductor. Will was the first CSX-era hire on the former RF&P out of Richmond.

When I was occasionally cut back to conductor, I would go to the UPS train pool to work with the top-dog engineers; John Stone, Jim Stevens, and Will Lovelace. All great to work with.

Mr. Lovelace retired in late 2021.

The "Three Amigos" in engineer class. L to R: Mike Burbidge, Jeff Sessa (me), Jay Daravong. I believe Mike went to MBTA, I went to Amtrak in 2023, and Jay went to the Pan Am before leaving the industry entirely. We certainly had fun down in Atlanta.

A photo showing the Engineer gold mine on Taku Arm in northern British Columbia in about 1927. The steamship seen approaching is the famous Tutshi - LINK showing this same image only on a postcard - www.explorenorth.com/library/mining/images/engineer_mine1...

The steamer S.S. Tutshi was the "queen" of the British Yukon Navigation Company's fleet. She was constructed at Carcross and launched on June 12, 1917. At 1,040 tons, the Tutshi was one of the larger boats in the Yukon. She had a crew of 29 and could carry 135 passengers. Her original run was between Carcross and Graham Inlet on Tagish Lake. Although the Tutshi carried freight (mail, groceries etc.), she was built primarily as an excursion boat. Between 1920 and 1926, she underwent three expansions to accommodate the bustling tourist trade. The Tutshi carried up to 135 passengers all of whom were first class. The S.S. Tutshi was the biggest passenger carrying ship of its time, and the only one with room service. One of the Tutshi's destinations was Ben-My-Chree. Ben-My-Chree was the site of a mine in the early 1900's, but the mine caved in, and the owners, Mr. and Mrs. Partridge, never reopened it. Instead they imported plants and trees from around the world and converted the area to a beautiful garden spot. They had literally recreated an English country garden where spectacular displays of flowers could be seen and enjoyed by all. The Tutshi brought tourists here to view the beautiful gardens. The elderly couple would entertain their visitors with sing-songs around their organ and serve them a delicious fare including tea, cakes and rhubarb wine. The overnight trip would end back in Carcross the next morning. An alternate excursion to Atlin, B.C. was available until 1936. The Tutshi was one of the first sternwheeler's to be converted from wood to oil, a modification made in 1925 largely for the comfort of the passengers. The Tutshi made her last trip to Ben-My Chree in 1955 and her last trip ever in 1956 when she was used to pull a barge of railway ties from Taku Arm to Carcross. In July of that year she was pulled out of the water and remained abandoned on the shores of the Natasahini River until 1971 when the Yukon Government purchased it and became involved in her restoration. She was beached on the shore of Lake Bennett at Carcross in 1972, repainted in 1977 and the real restoration work was begun in 1984. By early 1990 she was almost restored to her former beauty when sadly, the S.S. Tutshi was destroyed in an early morning fire on July 25, 199O. After the fall of the Greco-Roman Federation, a small group of the Federation's top VCS engineers managed to escape to the West-African Company, an ambitious military manufacturer. The engineers brought with them plans for a new lightweight VCS prototype. The WAC quickly rushed the new system into production, and soon were selling them to the various insurgent forces throughout northern Africa. Reports show that some of the larger insurgent groups may be forming a makeshift government in order to take down the URE.

The WAC-LVCS01, more commonly known as the Gremlin, was originally designed as a cheap VCS for use against infantry and light armor, similar to the URE's Hornet. However, the system exceeded expectations, and has proved more than a match for larger VCS due to its mobility and firepower. In addition to a basic rifle, most Gremlins come equipped with a multipurpose backpack, which contains two "System Buster" manual-use warheads, and a light bazooka, as well as a long-range comms antennae. Extra ammunition for the bazooka is stored on the backpack, and extra clips for the rifle are found on a cable around the waist.

This one was interesting to build, I started out building the design around a new shoulder joint that would allow the arms to swing forward, and it evolved from there. It's definitely pretty fun to play around with, especially the extra weapons. It does look kinda weird without the backpack, though.

This is the third image of this place I have posted. Previously when selling multiple brands and then also as seemingly a solus Shell site although that's not certain from the view given in that photo which is the same view as this one. It's hard to put a timeline on these three images but certainly the solus ones come after the one where it is clearly selling more than one brand. This is a colourised image, I am almost certain it is based on a image previously posted by Daves_Archive1, you can see that one below along with the two other images I have posted. If I had to stick my neck out I'd say this image is the most recent but still probably later 1960s.

The main focus of all these images is the Green Dragon pub and not the garage of course, it's just coincidence that the pumps were positioned so that they show in such postcards. As an aside the pub is superb and serves wonderful food.

Of course the garage didn't last, it was tucked in between the pub and the church with a tiny entrance and in more modern times would have been entirely impractical.

In a six and a half hour spacewalk, McClain and Saint-Jacques successfully established a redundant path of power to the Canadian-built robotic arm, known as Canadarm2, and installed cables to provide for more expansive wireless communications coverage outside the orbital complex, as well as for enhanced hardwired computer network capability. The duo also relocated an adapter plate from the first spacewalk in preparation for future battery upgrade operations.
