My entry to Round 4 of the 2014 Bio-Cup, against Hahli141 and his great entry, the Manipulator.
Sgt. Jason Stormer (Preston's younger brother) has just joined the Hero Factory task force, and has been assigned a powerful transforming Helicopter robot, the Helix Enforcer!
Features gear-operated spinning rotor unit, Midak sky blasters on either side, and 2 powerful machine guns, this swift helicopter is capable of rendering even the most forceful army units helpless. For terrestrial combat, this unit transforms into a walker mech with a rotating drill laser and a rotator tri-blade saw!
Creator's comments:
this particular entry was a lotta fun to make, but was the culmination of many unfruitful mocing days, where I slowly progressed on the main body. The rest pretty much came together earlier today, as I work best under the pressure of the deadline. Granted, I'm not fully satisfied with the back (rather annoyed by it in fact), but my supply of white parts was running dreadfully short. I need more white panels, dammit!
Anywho, this was really fun to make, and I like what I've been able to hatch out for this round. Could have been better most definitely. If only I had more parts :/
Best of luck to my opponent Hahli141, who has created a wonderful mech/vic viper combo. Signing off :)
Haringey Council's enforcement staff attempt to discourage rubbish dumping & fly-tipping in St Margaret's Avenue N15, near the junction with Alfoxton Avenue.

Although the poster also seems to imply some sort of theory about who dumps on our streets. That it's not the several thousand 'ordinary' people, who regularly leave small items of rubbish. Stuff which includes empty bottles, cans, cardboard boxes, take-away chicken remains, and old clothes. Occasionally there's larger waste such as an old fridge or mattress dragged out.
Maybe the "We're looking for you" poster suggests instead a mysterious and small number 'of them'. Perhaps white-van-men? The 'Mr-Bigs' of organised fly-tipping?
Shadowy figures with pixellated heads and crimson halos?

Washington D.C. August 2, 2022 - Tuesday marked the 39th annual community-building campaign of National Night Out. Several events promoting police-community partnerships took place across D.C., Maryland and Virginia. In Lincoln Park, just east of the Capitol, the U.S. Marshals joined local and federal agencies to help bring law enforcement and the community closer together through knowledge and fun. The U.S. Marshals were represented by personnel from D.C. District Court, Superior Court, and Headquarters. Both U.S. Marshal Robert Dixon of D.C. Superior Court, and acting U.S. Marshal Lamont Ruffin of D.C. District Court, participated as well as Heather Walker, Assistant Director of Investigative Operations Division.

A final, end-of-the-year push begins today to lead Illinois to far fewer motor vehicle fatalities than last year and the lowest annual fatality totals since 2009. The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT), Illinois State Police (ISP) and more than 230 law enforcement agencies across the state are participating in this comprehensive effort to save lives on Illinois roads at a time of year that can be one of the most deadly.
The enforcement crackdown will coincide with the premiere of the latest episode of IDOT’S website series “The Driving Dead”, which will be available beginning Dec.19 at TheDrivingDeadSeries.com. The first video in the series, featuring Michael Rooker from the popular TV show “The Walking Dead” and the smash hit movie “Guardians of the Galaxy,” was unveiled this summer and has received more than 640,000 views on YouTube.
The videos show the zombie-filled adventures of Rooker and other characters, who find themselves in situations depicting the dangers of driving impaired and not buckling up. You can connect with “The Driving Dead” on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for up-to-date news and behind-the-scenes looks at the series.
The statewide enforcement effort also features the familiar messages of “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” and “Click It or Ticket” to remind motorists of the consequences of bad driving behavior. Holiday motorists can expect hundreds more roadside safety checks, seat belt enforcement zones and other police saturation patrols looking for impaired drivers and seat belt law violators from now through Jan. 1.
In 1920, the first year motor vehicle fatalities were recorded, 728 people died on Illinois roads. In that year, vehicle-miles traveled totaled an estimated 3.46 billion miles. Just two years later, annual fatalities already increased to more than 1,000. Nearly a century later, annual fatalities again fell below 1,000, even though annual vehicle-miles traveled increased 30-fold in that time to105 billion each year. In 1920, Illinois’ annual motor vehicle fatality rate was 21.03 deaths per 100 million vehicle miles traveled. In 2013, that rate was 0.94.
Illinois has an opportunity in 2014 to make even more history by recording one of its lowest annual motor vehicle fatality totals ever, with a chance at achieving an all-time, modern-day low. As of December 17, 2014, 878 people have lost their lives on Illinois roads, which is 78 lower than the same timeframe in 2013.
During the 2013 Christmas holiday (6 p.m. Dec. 24 to 11:59 p.m. Dec.25), two people were killed in motor vehicle traffic crashes in Illinois. Both fatalities involved a drinking driver. Over the last five years in Illinois (2009-2013), 38 fatalities occurred in Illinois during Christmas, 11 of which (29 percent) involved a drinking driver.

After the bloody political overthrow of the Galactic Cooperation of Peaceful Systems (GCPS) by the Galactic Police Force, the galaxy became a brutal place, full of pirates, terrorists, and protestors.
Under the rule of the Police Chief Supreme, Ralph Owen Warrenbuger, the GPF expanded to deal with these new threats. The GPF now not only dealt with peacekeeping, but with war, as well.
To handle these two similar-yet-slightly-different occupations, the GPF built modular war machines, capable of non-lethal, slightly-lethal, and hella-lethal weaponry.
Here is the Enforcer, an armored hardsuit. The Enforcer has been designed to be a modular platform for a variety of purposes, such as warfare, a navy salvage suit, and a persuer, equipped with advanced sensors and a spotlight for tracking down fugitives.
Built for the "Protect and Serve" competiton on Brickhorizon.
