Over 90 newly certified law enforcement officers graduated from the Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy (TLETA) at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, 2016 during a ceremony held at Hermitage Hills Baptist Church (3475 Lebanon Pike, Hermitage, TN).
Graduates of Basic Police School Class 1813 will serve the following police departments (PD), sheriffs’ offices (SO), and state agencies:

Salinas, California, 2018 – A large-scale, four-month-long gang enforcement operation named “Operation Triple Beam” concluded Feb. 15 resulting in arrest of 197 fugitives, 94 of whom were gang members or associates.
The U.S. Marshals Pacific Southwest Regional Fugitive Task Force led operation, involved multiple federal, state and local law enforcement agencies concentrating their efforts and focus on known street gangs in Monterey County, particularly within the City of Salinas.
During Operation Triple Beam (OTB), which was conducted from October 2018 to February 2019, Salinas Police noted significant reduction in violent crime reports in comparison to the prior year. Specifically noted were an 87.5 percent decrease in homicide incidents, a 46.6 percent decrease in drive-by-shootings, a 31.7 percent decrease in shootings overall, and a 66.6 percent decrease in armed robberies.
Since 2010, the U.S. Marshals Service has led more than 60 counter-gang operations which have yielded over 8,000 arrests and the seizure of more than 1,800 illegal firearms.

Las Cruces, NM – A large-scale, ninety-day enforcement operation known as “Operation Triple Beam” concluded April 12 with the arrest of 154 fugitives from throughout Dona Ana County,115 were felony arrests within the City of Las Cruces.
Led by the U.S. Marshals Southwest Investigative Fugitive Team, federal, state and local law enforcement concentrated their efforts on known street gangs in Dona Ana County and the surrounding municipalities.
The operation targeted fugitives involved in or linked to violent gangs and their associates. During the 90-day period, police executed 20 search warrants, which resulted in the seizure of 24 firearms, A total of 180 warrants were cleared; 166 state and 14 federal. Additionally, 30 state probation and parole absconders were apprehended. In addition, police seized just over 80 pounds of meth, 2.4 pounds of heroin, along with THC and marijuana. Five stolen vehicles were recovered and almost $5,000 in US Currency was seized.
Since 2010, the U.S. Marshals have led more than 50 counter-gang operations which have yielded over 8,500 arrests and the seizure of more than 2000 illegal firearms. For the last 10 years, the overarching goal of the U.S. Marshals’ nationwide Operation Triple Beam initiative has been to bring relief to the residents of communities by strategically and actively pursuing gang members and criminals most responsible for the worst crime and violence in those communities.

One of the things about constant war is that it tends to drive certain technologies forward that otherwise would stagnate or evolve at a much slower pace.
The Enforcer represents a quantum leap over its predecessors. Though not much bigger than the light fighters it replaces, it is a true medium weight dogfighter, and stood toe-to-toe with the best from the Askata Kairen for several decades.
With twin engines and heavier class firepower, it was quicker and deadlier.
