One of my favorite things about birding adventures is visiting a rookery. With the constant bickering over nest sites, screeching, squawking, garbling and endless chasing, there's constant enjoyment and it's truly 'a sight to behold'. This Cattle Egret was maintaining a constant watch over a selected nest sight where his mate was sitting...you don't want to mess with them!

I love the smell of hydrangeas. They are soft, romantic and smell like spring to me. Their blooms are large and their colors change with the environment they are in. I hope there are beautiful flowers around you too!
Had this popular bridge on my list for a while now, and this weekend I had the chance, because I stayed in Zealand. I got up for sunrise and made some shots at golden hour, only to find out that the foggy conditions that came in the midday, were far more rare and atmospheric. Since it was only a 15 minutes drive from my location, there was no way I could resist this scenery;)
Thanks for having a look! All faves and comments are highly appreciated!
he final part of the Gransasso Group and the Maiella group are the only things emerging from the sea of clouds.
Closer look of the photogenic core region with endless sea of stars. Foreground peaks illuminated with an artificial light source.
