water drops on a Lily Petal :-)

This is the day version of another shot that I uploaded last year. I like the night water color better so this one was left behind.

Near Tagounite/Mhamid, Berber Camp, Morocco. Mhamid lies at an altitude of about 500 meters above sea level and about 24 kilometers from the Algerian border at the edge of the Sahara. Mhamid lies on the Wadi Draa, which rarely contains water.

Thank you for your visits, nice comments and faves.

It’s very much appreciated!

Endless desert with some hills here and there… No clue how to survive in this situation for two months… A veteran story (the tour guide): 20 years services at the US Army, 54 months at Afghanistan. His name is Artist, first nation, here is his hometown. When he retired from the Army, he was bothered with mental issues, carried backpack with one week's food and water and went to the desert to have meditations for a week, back to refill the food and water, continued his journey again… It lasted for two months, he recovered luckily. That’s kind of place where he stayed during the day and night, the sky is the room, the ground is the bed, meditation is the final return…

Somewhere in Ireland, I think...

@ Endless : Birdlings Flat

Sombre Nyx, creator & owner says:

"Inspired by a small and isolated coastal settlement in the South Island of New Zealand, Birdlings Flat offers wide vistas, unkempt fields, a pebbled coastline strewn with driftwood, a sprinkling of science, and a chance to find stillness."
