This was the end of line. The turn round shunt area was deceiving (right side) but the Manor managed without a problem

There is no way the stationary coach was shunted into where is stands. That set and interesting question?

Finsbury Circus 22/03/10. Contractors for Crossrail took over 3/4 of the site on March 1st. The former Bowling Green area will be used as a construction worksite for the development of Liverpool Street Crossrail. Works are expected to remain in place for seven years and following the completion of Crossrail, the site is to be "restored" to its former state. Posts set in concrete are being put in place as shown here. Former Pavilion at the back.

Typically the late flowering bulbs this year will mostly be behind the fence!
