Behind the station, unfortunately, is a recently built conventional strip mall. Hopefully what gets built around the remaining greenfield is not more of the same.
Since Pacific National have elected not to renew the lease on Morandoo yard it's going to be stripped of everything and then another rail operator (SSR? Qube? Aurizon?) are set to move in.

From 1975 to 1989, the Stadion am Hermann-Löns-Weg was a 2. Bundesliga stadium for SG Union Solingen.
It's a long difficult story, so I recommend you to read the following url's:
de.wikipedia.org/wiki/SG_Union_Solingen
de.wikipedia.org/wiki/1._FC_Union_Solingen
de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stadion_am_Hermann-L%C3%B6ns-Weg
In short, please visit this stadium (or if you're a local...save it)!
Bulldozers are coming :(
