Railroad abbreviations don't and Google Maps don't mix.
BNSF 7721 and three other Heritage 2 Dash-9s guide one-hundred empties from the Kings County Industrial Park "KinPark" outside of Hanford, California down The Chute, as the train rolls back to it's loading location just outside of Tulsa, Oklahoma. The train itself carries liquid fertilizer when loaded which is a hot commodity on the agriculturally dominant San Joaquin Valley, always kinda surprised by the collection of business the BNSF has in seemingly niche unit traffic guess it just comes down to location, location, location
If I gave Moriarty the amount of food he thinks he needs, his legs wouldn't reach the floor any more.

An empty chair inside the Taubanesentrale. There were great views out the windows.
The building was used to route the coal from the various mines down to the port. It stopped operating in the 1980s and was abandoned for years, but now it’s been renovated and opens as a kind of museum. Though it definitely feels like they just left a lot of stuff lying around, in a good way!
For a photo story from Svalbard:
An eastbound empty grain train passes the elevator at Butze, right on the boarder between Alberta and Saskatchewan.
The elevator at Chauvin Alberta can be seen just to to the right of the locomotive cab.
CN ore empties out of Two Harbors roll toward the Minntac plant at the Ramshaw diamond as the train nears Iron Junction, Minnesota - October 22, 2017.

My goal with this series is to explore every day scenes under the cover of darkness. A street corner, a lamp post, a doorway. Big city, small town, urban, rural. Man-made light versus nature’s darkness–––light and shadow interpreting minimalist settings in black and white. To see more in this series, check out Cover Of Darkness
A Paducah & Louisville empty coal trains heads south through a large cut near Eastview, Kentucky.
The train began its climb at Stephensburg and is about halfway to the top which is located at the old Illinois Central station of Summit, about three miles south of this location.
This image was captured while I was out and about in the ole Jeep, weaving through cornfields, on a trip to the town of Mt. Orab, OH.
I drive this route often, and for reasons I can't explain, this small section of Ohio farmland continually yields truly beautiful skyscapes and wonderful cloud formations that the firmament just a few miles away never seems to match. I can't figure it, so I just enjoy it and try to always have the camera with me when traveling through this area.
