blocks for Emily...I am actually very jealous of the quilt that Emily is going to have! I am so making one of these!
This shot taken from Old Leeds Road, is of the second building to be built on Huddersfield University's National Health Innovation Campus, the ground works are finished, the first crane is up and the second is being erected, you can also see the precast concrete modules expanding upwards.

While shooting Elisabeth at her house, I got to meet her model roommate, Emily.
Basically, that house is like a tiny photo studio, as the for ladies that live there are either a model, a photographer or a hair & make up person.
I gotta find myself a set-up like that.
Now I tend to stay away from actual Models when it comes to shooting people, I much prefer to work with folks who aren't used to modeling, or do it just for fun. There' s a different energy involved when shooting an actual model, a layer of artifice I try to avoid in my shots.
But all of us had been in conversation for quite awhile that day before I finally brought the camera out and asked for a shot. Talked about the new guy she was seeing, the landlord she hated, being an abnormally tall Jewish girl.
And no, not just like mom wanted. Mom wanted me to marry an asian girl, because deep down, my mother had spent countless hours on her own private eugenics program, and figured the offspring of me and an asian girl would be the übermensch.
But I digress.
I still got that classic model face with this shot.
So I kept shooting, as is the advantage of digital, ended up with this, far more authentic: blog.louobedlam.com/post/79664692/if-youd-have-asked-me-t...
Now if that shot don't make you want to go make some J-E-L-L-O, then you've obviously gone communist.

-Today after school i had a shoot with Emily. We have never met before and it was her first time modeling and she was a natural, So it made my job a bit easier aha. We drove up to Santa Cruz and headed to West Cliff. The Weather was perfect like it knew that we were going to be taking photo's that day, it was cloudy and made the clouds like a diffuser and the Sun as the light it was perfect. We took a trail but found ourselves making our own and doing so we found some pretty dope places to shoot ! Overall this shoot went perfect and my 1st timer model Emily was amazing ! More photo's from this shoot will be posted up real soon !
May the good lord be with you
Down every road you roam
And may sunshine and happiness
Surround you when youre far from home
And may you grow to be proud
Dignified and true
And do unto others
As youd have done to you
Be courageous and be brave
And in my heart youll always stay
Forever young, forever young
May good fortune be with you
May your guiding light be strong
Build a stairway to heaven
With a prince or a vagabond
And may you never love in vain
And in my heart you will remain
Forever young, forever young
And when you finally fly away
Ill be hoping that I served you well
For all the wisdom of a lifetime
No one can ever tell
But whatever road you choose
Im right behind you, win or lose<----(Always)
Forever young, forever young...Rod Stewart

Day 60
Here it is! It took me 60 days but I don't think it was a long time considering that all was done while having a family, a full-time job and such. Originally I planned to make a pillow out of it but now I'm thinking of framing it together with its sister design Kiss. Hmm...
Emily, looking to get into modeling, asked me if I would shoot with her to get some photos for her portfolio. We shot around Clinton Lake.
