My sweet, crazy Newfoundland. Her surgery went well on her blown out knee. We are in week two of recovery and rehab and have about 8 weeks to go. It has been challenging for all of us but we're determined to cross the finish line.
A dog is one of the few things in life, that is exactly what it seems.

A bit of a challenge, and a departure for me. A combination of mixed lighting, incandescents, skylights, and some bounced flash off of gray walls made for some "interesting" white balance fun, I had to crank the ISO up to 2500 and pictures shot that high on this old 2004 designed Canon body tend to fall apart. I used the new de-noise feature in ACR, it did a commendable job, but it took around 35 minutes per picture to accomplish. Then there was the issue with moving subjects, definitely not my forte!

I think... I hope... I'm back. Life has certainly been covid-bound for me. All supports that were put in to assist with the care of my husband were removed as soon as the country had to go into quarantine. So the housework and care have caused much extra stress to my heart. But I've figured out new ways and methods. And I miss the caretaking for me of the "art" of photography. I'll be gradually catching up... and I hope I see that you've all retained your health.
Corinne and I recently went out to lake hodges to do a photoshoot with my beautiful girlfriend Emily.
