I haven't been out for a few weeks it seems drab life had taken over and Helens world was put firmly on hold, Not that I had really noticed as I had a few evenings as my old self.
Well I took the opportunity to escape and sorted an outfit for the occasion. it was to be a white shift dress with a floral chiffon shrug thing and boots,
So worked finished I headed to my friends and headed to the bathroom to freshen up . first problem! I thought I would be flash and not take all my makeup kit and instead relied on a grab and go collection of what would fit into a small bag. BAD idea! Forgot my eye liner and had the wrong lippy both shades being to pink and the lip stain had done a bunk and disappeared.
Not to worry I thought this I can overcome (NOT) face went on to pale, beard shadow didn't go away well not much! and my contouring went to pot.
By this point I was a little peeved so decided to put the dress on and while admiring my self in the mirror noticed the stitching had come adrift on the rear seam. Why do they stich so close to the edge nowadays? OH yeah to save money :-(
Now I was having a real paddy and was about to throw my rattle out the pram when I remembered I had a spare dress in the car for just this kind of thing.
Above is the emergency dress and my old faithful jacket. Even the makeup doesn't look to bad.
My drone battery ran out and I had to grab a few shots with my phone! I can't resist the rock pool relections.
The pigeons congregated on top of the archway on the submerged path to the garden at the Archbishop's Palace.

Some neighbors wanted a piece of "cake", even a land grab, so I had this emergency land survey done, no dilly-dallying. Praise Yahuah, with my very limited time I found the Geodetic Engineer to do the job quickly for me and charged me with a very reasonable rate.

Aki checking emergency equipment: I know them well, because they are the same masks for the pilots in commercial airplanes. Happy to say thought that I have never used them except for this kind of equipment checking! In space and in all extreme situations we check life-saving equipment regularly, but hope never to use them!
Aki et la session réglementaire de vérification de l’équipement d’urgence. Pas très dépaysant pour un pilote commercial : ce sont les mêmes masques ! Les situations d’urgence sont très peu probables, mais un feu (dans un environnement complètement fermé), un trou dans la coque (qui nous ferait rapidement perdre tout notre air) ou l’émission d’un produit toxique à l’intérieur de l’ISS sont les 3 plus sérieuses… que nous travaillons activement à éviter...!

I noticed that he have less fur on his back and have a leg damage.
He walk but no as good a healthy cat should do!
Will call my association to catch him and send to the veterinary asap!

This vehicle has spent the majority of its life in Surrey being based at either Guildford or Cranleigh until August 2015 when it was sent to join the ARRIVA Kent Thameside fleet at Colchester.

Emergency training: once in a while we review our procedures and the use of our medical equipment (we have the equipment of a small Emergency Room up here 💉🏥). Oleg, Pyotr and Mark were reviewing them and I just happened to float by and the photographer was caught by surprise
Nous faisons régulièrement des entraînements d’urgence, pour bien garder les procédures en mémoire et vérifier nos kits médicaux. On a un véritable arsenal hospitalier pour pallier à tous les problèmes médicaux par exemple. Oleg, Pyotr et Mark étaient studieux quand je suis passé par là et je me suis fait flasher, aucun doute que je dépasse parfois la limitation de vitesse ;)

In the derelict American Standard factory in Cambridge Ontario. It has been slated to be torn down or renovated for other uses for years. I dont know what the current status is.
came across this ambulance as it navigates through traffic congestion caused by multiple road repairs. most difficult situation if one is in an emergency
