Found a piece of decaying equipment when I was out to capture the sunset. BTW....the sunset was a bust.
A problematic project because how does one choose?
I adore all the regions of these Fairelands and will post about 5-6 photos in the next day (before the Fairelands fade back) to showcase those worlds that spoke so very clearly to me for various reasons. My clear favorite will close out this series.

Partie intégrante du paysage montréalais depuis 1948. L’enseigne a quinze lettres distribuées sur deux rangées qui épèlent ‘FARINE/FIVE ROSES’ apparaissant sur les deux côtés. Ces lettres ont approximativement 15 pieds de hauteur et sont supportées par un énorme échafaud ouvert. Cette disposition garantie la visibilité de ces mots, surtout en soirée et lorsque l’on s’approche de la ville en provenance de la rive-sud de Montréal (par exemple, en conduisant sur le pont Champlain). Les mots ont un contour blanc et sont remplis en rouge.
