This huge pine corn has been placed here for more than 3 years, rain or shine! Brought back from Fort Gordon, Augusta, GA.

Ladies, he's single? Hahaha.

Sea shells embedded in the top of a temple platform. The significance of the shells is not clearly known.

 

Altun Ha was not a seafaring settlement. However, it had an active trading tradition. These shells would have come through trading with nearby seafaring settlements.
