SpaceX Falcon-9 rocket on the historic Launch Complex 39-A. This is to be a crowning achievment for Elon Musk and his company as they will be reflying a used booster core, for the first time ever

At 3:34 pm today (Monday, 10/30/17) #SpaceX successfully launched the #KoreaSat5A satellite atop a #Falcon9 rocket and, a few moments later, landed the first stage of the Falcon aboard the "Of Course I Still Love You" droneship about 400 miles out in the Atlantic. This frame captures the rocket and the flag at the Kennedy Space Center Press Site.

Not the "normal" #SpaceX #Falcon9 booster return to Port Canaveral. After launching the #CRS16 resupply mission to the ISS on December 5th, the B1050 booster suffered a hydraulic pump failure for the grid fins & caused the computer to make a controlled landing in the ocean off the coast of Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. The black interstage looks severely damaged & corrosion would be a risk for reuse, after soaking in salt water for more than 48 hours.

Tech mogul Elon Musk has said that the new Starlink internet service by SpaceX should be fully mobile later this year.

A humorous caricature illustration of the well-known South African engineer, industrial designer, and technology entrepreneur; Elon Musk. One of a series of caricatures achieved for the Celebrity Sunday series, where a famous person is rendered within a day. The idea is to show them as if in a passport photo to have consistency.

Sheyene Gerardi, Venezuela

Venezuela´s Sheyene Gerardi inherited the mining estate from her parents in the Orinoco belt region in Venezuela. The state became worth over $1 billion in 2017, after Venezuelan authorities claimed the area, dubbed “the Orinoco Mining Arc”, to possess reserves of uranium and some of the largest untapped gold and coltan reserves in the world. The company, through its subsidiary, is also developing automated mining technologies. Her businesses also include projects and activities with NASA.

SpaceX Falcon 9 launched their third batch of 60 Starlink broadband internet satellites Monday at 9:19:21 EST, from SLC-40 on Cape Canaveral Air Force Station

SpaceX lit up the Florida skies this morning with the latest batch of Starlink 4-17 satellites at 5:42 a.m. EDT, from LC-39A on NASA's Kennedy Space Center. When the rocket exhaust is illuminated by the sun, it starts to look like a space jellyfish.
