A pair of the Common Red Soldier beetles (Rhagonycha fulva) mating on a hogweed (Heracleum sphondylium) inflorescence. Smell of hogweed flowers may not be that everyone would be fond of but the red soldier beetles just love it and not surprisingly often called Hogweed Bonking Beetles in England – the name is spot-on. I received this amazing fantasy horse texture from birchteeth to review the other day and took this opportunity to pair it with Moon Elixir's Celestial Queen outfit from Crystal Heart. The texture is simply dreamy and really looks quite beautiful on the Water Horse. This would be an amazing texture for a unicorn (or Pegasus, when she arrives!)
