Photo request shots! Chalyss asked for some more photos of my 70cm Mirodoll Lightning, my fierce warrior elf lady. So, I took my girl in the back yard yesterday and tried to photograph her from all angles.
Lightning's face-up and outfit by me. Sword is from Angell-Studio, wig is from Dollzone, shoes and gloves from Pink Fantasy store on ebay.
A few of Santa's elves are gather at the train station awaiting the arrival o fthe Polar express from Akron. Rumor has it that one of the elves is a railfan. CVSR does a nice job of turning Peninsula into the North Pole and runs 2 daytime charity trips as well as trains from the north and south each evening. We've volunteered as elves for a few years. Seeing th ekids faces pressed against the window trying to get the first glimpse of Santa almost puts you in the holiday spirit.

Scarlet Elf Cup / sarcoscypha austriaca,. Cloud Wood, Leicestershire. 14/03/20.
It looked as if a small rodent had eaten a sizeable area from the inside of this Scarlet Elf Cup. The irregular edge and gnaw marks in the white flesh strongly suggest this. If viewed large, you can make out much smaller signs of other feeding activities ... probably invertebrates.

Also known as Scarlet Elf Caps, Red Cups, Moss Cups and Fairies’ Bath, the Scarlet Elf Cup fungus used to be collected by country folk and made into arrangements with moss and leaves to be sold as table decorations!

Little sad elf<3 I took many pictures of her but this is the only one that turned out half good. The horrible weather here is very discouraging, and it doesn't help to think that it's only getting darker now that autumn is approaching fast!
*Sigh* I may have to buy a lightbox and stuff myself in there as well.

This is one of my better shots from the con. I definitely was channeling my inner "Anna Fischer" (cosplay photographer who's work I love). I had to do some PS tricks to remove people and darken the glass/reflection as to not detract from the lovely ladies in the photo. And for the sake of being honest, I removed some of the "tiredness" from the blood elf's face as it looked like she had not gotten a lot of rest during the con.
Anyone know who these beautiful girls are? I'd love for them to see this photo and to see if I can take photos of them at a later time.

This elf is done with gathering, wrapping, sending presents and she is now waiting for Santa to finish work this week so she can enjoy a Mojito or two. :)

Scarlet Elf Cup / sarcoscypha austriaca. Cloud Wood, Leicestershire. 14/03/20.
This was the largest Scarlet Elf Cup I managed to find and as shown, it had a narrow, elongated form. To me, the nipped in 'waist' looks as if two cups had mutated into one. Can this happen or have I been reading too much about mutating viruses lately ?
The image was made looking directly down into the cup. It helps you gain an impression of how much the edge had been nibbled by rodents.
