This is the eleventh part of a series describing the setup of the photo Berry Hard Work.

The Process

My process usually goes something like this:

1. Setup.

2. Take a photo.

3. Import the photo into iPhoto.

4. Look for mistakes in setup, camera focus, lighting, etc.

5. Make appropriate adjustments as needed.

6. Go back to step 2 and repeat over and over until image is acceptable.

7. Make tweaks in color balance, levels, etc. in iPhoto.

8. Write up title, description, keywords, etc.

9. Upload to Flickr.

And that's it! Thank you for your interest in my silly corner of Flickr.

Eleventh build in my Iron Builder round against Eann, 3 red cauldrons. This makes 77 cauldrons total these past two weeks.

I had bigger ambitions for a finale for sure, but I ran out of pieces (not time, dear no!). And I've had these cannons sitting around hoping for a vignweek prompt that would suit them (hm). Felt like a good pun to end on anyways.

In the episode, the newly regenerated Doctor crashes his TARDIS, into the small English village of Leadworth, where he meets a young Scottish girl named Amelia Pond.

The Doctor is forced to leave, but promises Amelia he will return in five minutes. However, he arrives twelve years late and is confronted by the grown-up Amelia, now known as Amy, who does not trust him.

He attempts to gain her trust to help return the shape-shifting alien Prisoner Zero to the galactic police, the Atraxi, before they destroy the planet.

First of all: I was inspired for this series by the wonderful "Harry`s Magical Journey". I am still speechless, with how much love, details and refinement the 7 great builders (Markus, Johannes, Kevin, Jared, Marcel, Melan-E and Thorsten) have represented the Harry Potter films.

But unlike this, I will not upload a picture every day, maybe a maximum of two per week and I will not build each episode - that would be a project for years :D

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Finally, I`ll show you the first of the long-announced Mocs of "Doctor Who" I created.

There are so many great scenes from "The Eleventh Hour" - but I decided to build the little Amy as she waits in vain for the doctor's return.

I am very happy with this vignette, my personal highlight is clearly the swing. I have tried several techniques for a few days, until I liked this variant really well.

How do you find the first episode with Matt Smith as the 11th Doctor?

building contract October 6, 1923.

The $250,000 temple was used for lodge puposes for the first time

on February 23, 1925. The building was formally dedicated March 27, 1925.

This building was placed

on the National Register of Historic Places in June of 1990. The Elk's currently rent the lower storefront

spaces to Astoria Children's Museum and . . . a restaurant.

This building is significant for its contribution to the historic streetscape and its quality of design by Charles T. Diamond.

In addition to a carefully detailed exterior, the Elk's temple room boasts one of the finest interior spaces in all Astoria.

This building is also significant for housing a fraternal organization. Fraternal orders were highly influential during the historic period as a way for ethnic groups to integrate

into American society.

9/11 affected me like it affected you. It was frightening. I was in New York and I was frightened. In my life, the most scary thing that had happened was World War II. I was in Tokyo when enemy planes were coming in, bombing the city. So I see it a little differently to the Americans who had never experienced an attack on their homeland. Pearl Harbour was different because it was on an island, further away.

I thought of 3 things on September 11th: first was the second World War, second was the day of John's passing - because it happened equally unexpectedly - and third were the people who lost their partner or a family member.

After 9/11 many artists asked: What can we do now?

Together - art and music - can cover the world and make it peaceful.

Art is international so all of us can benefit from it.

Following the political changes through the year after 9/11, I felt terribly vulnerable - like the most delicate wind could bring me tears. It was as though everything I believed in was rapidly melting away, while I continued walking still carrying my beliefs. The front page of the papers and the TV news were feeding us what they wanted to - assaulting our senses. Men without faces were at work. Force and intimidation were in the air. People were silenced. I always thought I wanted to live forever, that I was one person who was not scared of doing so. But would I want to live surrounded by this world as we know now? Some people went to Palestine to act as human shields. That really touched me. If all of us stood to become human shields instead of machine gunning each other... My immediate thought was to join them. I almost did, and didn't. Later, the world heard of the death of Rachel Corrie. She made her stand for all of us.

Imagine all the people living life in peace. I think that that's a very strong thing to do. It might be a very controversial thing to do. Because it's a very powerful thing to do. But I think it's all right to say that. I don't think that goes against the policy of this country or anything like that. I think, in the end, all people in this country really want peace. But how to get there, some people are thinking in a different way of course. But imagining, that's something that we can all do, even when we have different opinions about how to get there. Imagining peace, imagining peace. That's okay. That we can all do, without feeling the conflict.

I am now on the road promoting IMAGINE PEACE - going from Germany to Italy to Poland to Iceland to Britain to China to Japan. Today, on 9/11, I am in the air flying from one city to another.

On this day, don't forget to Think PEACE, Act PEACE, and Spread PEACE and tell your friends to IMAGINE PEACE.

Remember we are family.

I love you!

Here is the only observation deck in this town which can photograph a night view of Tokyo. I can look at a high-rise building of Shinjuku and an intersection of crowded Shibuya from here. But the state of the window was not perfect because it was rain on that day. I want to come here again soon.

Paria Rimrock Toadstools is a short hike to some cool hoodoos on the southern edge of the Grand Escalante National Monument. Overshadowed by some of the other more famous hikes and scenic views in the area, the toadstools do not see nearly as many visitors- despite their easy access.

After a long day of driving dirt roads around Lake Powell, we were ready to call it quits for the day, but made one final push to shoot the stars over the toadstools. Despite being completely exhausted and nearly delirious from lack of sleep, it was worth the extra effort.

Man got this one up just in the nik of time. Not too sure what I think of it though. Also, turns out picture frames are very handy for last minute pictures.

This downtown Miami building combines juvenile and family courts in a non-traditional, welcoming environment. Designed to minimize stress for children and families, the 14-story building houses 18 courtrooms and 16 supporting agencies, making it easy for families to access services in one central location.

The team attempted to create the best possible experience for people who need to use this building. Five floors are flexible to support the county’s changing needs. Three floors offer families storefront locations for key support agencies. Agile courtrooms and technologies accommodate different case types.

The bright, spacious interiors communicate respect and warmth toward the children and their families. Daylit corridors and generous common spaces display public art. Several large-scale murals and tile installations feature portraits created by students.

As part of providing a healthy environment, Miami-Dade County wanted to integrate sustainability into the design. The LEED Gold building’s east-west orientation minimizes solar heat gain from the tropical sun while offering spectacular views to Biscayne Bay and the city.

A concrete screen wall on the main civic facade provides shading. Multicolored glass windows create an ever-changing daylight experience in public waiting areas. At night, light from the interior creates a random pattern of primary colors across this south-facing “confetti wall.”

Eleventh Labor, 1st step: the fight with Kyknos, son of the war god, Ares, who demanded that hero fight him. The scene painted on the hydria main body shows Kyknos falling down defeated by the Herakles assaults. Mars and Athena attend the fight supporting their protected.

On the shoulder warriors departing.

As eleventh labor, Eurystheus commanded Hercules to bring him the golden apples which belonged to Zeus. Hera had given these apples to Zeus as a wedding gift. The apples were kept in a garden at the northern edge of the world, and they were guarded not only by a hundred-headed dragon, named Ladon, but also by the Hesperides, nymphs who were daughters of Atlas. In order to discover the location of the garden, Herakles traveled through Libya, Egypt, Arabia, and Asia having adventures along the way, and the completion of 11th labor required numerous steps:

1)The fight with Kyknos, son of the war god, Ares, who demanded that hero fight him.

2)The meeting with the sea-god Nereus able to metamorphose him-self in any possible shape.

3)The fight with Antaeus, son of Poseidon .

4)The fight with Busiris, on other son of Poseidon.

5)The freeing of Prometheus, chained by Zeus in the Caucasian region.

6)The meeting with Atlas, the Hesperides’ father

7)The restitution of the golden apples to the gods
