The second installment of my elemental series for the Air element.

Fog is a thick cloud that confounds us and causes us to lose our sense of direction, in both a physical and mental sense. When our judgement is "clouded", or our mind in a "fog", sometimes it's best to wait until all the facts impacting our decision become visible and clear. The sun eventually burns away the fog, enabling us to see everything clearly. The same holds true, and serves as a metaphor, for the mental realm. Our mental sun eventually burns away our mental fog, allowing us to "see" everything clearly with an unclouded mind.

Luca had a tumor removed from his brain, he was an architect, he now paints with his left hand in water color due to partial paralysis. A very strong individual.

Similiar to other shots from the same sequence, back on Sept. 6, but too sweet not to include in my Flickr archive.

Thanks for your visit and support!

This was the first lego dragon I ever bought, and the first I started to upgrade. Over the years it has seen many changes, this is v20, or something like that

There’s something so elegant about bare bones like these.

Ballyness Bay, Falcarragh overlooking Magheroarty Sand Dunes with 'Tory Island' in the far distance, County Donegal, Ireland

This scene instantly captured my imagination when I first laid eyes on it. I agree it may not seem the most exciting place as it has no striking focal point of interest nor has it any amazing cloud formations & it’s not a sunset scene filled with colour. This is fine with me as it was initially the natural simplicity of these sand carvings that drove me to capture this photo.

You may have to look more closely at this photo to see the sand being blown across the surface by strong winds. During capture the wind was blowing this sharp sand so strongly that it started hurting my ankles like nettle stings!

I love how nature uses her elements of wind & waves as tools to gently carve away the layers of sand to create these sand waves surrounded by small pools of sun heated water. These pools hold warm crystal-clear water that reflect the blue sky perfectly. The funny thing is that no matter how calm & delicate these natural sculptures are, within a moment notice nature can change into an angry storm & with a single furious wave destroy it all! However, like any woman she always calm’s down again after a few days 😂 & starts gently re-carving these delicate sand sculptures once again for all of us to admire 💚

“The three great elemental sounds in nature are the sound of rain, the sound of wind in a primeval wood, and the sound of outer ocean on a beach”

Henry Beston

For Macro Mondays, smaller than an inch. Someone smashed the window of the bus shelter and all the bits were lying around, though cordoned off. I pocketed a large piece, thinking it might make a good photo background, but it broke up into small pieces. Here are two of them; the height of one on top of the other comes to 5/8 of an inch and the width of the bottom piece about half an inch. Just measuring with my eye, I think the glass plus negative space fits into the size restriction.

End of the series. For those who may have missed the others and have an interest, the first two are a few pages back. Alternatively, I have created an "Abstract" set which I anticipate will be sparsely populated, but explains, in part, my rare entry into this area.

To my loyal and dear Flickr friends who have taken the time to question all this, I appreciate it. More importantly, I hope you enjoyed them...they are, as with all abstractions, whatever you take them to be...

Playing with black and white. The sprinkler system watering the soccer field at the park gave me an interesting image to play with.

Thanks to everyone for the lovely comments, group invites, awards and favorites! So much appreciated! :)
