update day after the election:

SHOCKING that Donald Trump won.

Even more shocking is the fact that so many Americans voted for Trump believing that he will/can follow through with his promises.

VERY SCARY! Are we now going to see David Duke visiting at the White House???

An estimate of ten thousand demonstrators took the streets of Manhattan on Wednesday night and converged outside Trump Tower in Midtown to protest the election of Donald J. Trump as president. As they weaved through the streets of midtown to get to Trump Tower at 57th Street and Fifth Avenue, protesters faced threats of arrest from NYPD for blocking vehicular traffic.

Stanley Katz, director of the Center for Arts and Cultural Policy Studies at Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs, moderated a panel discussion about the 2016 presidential election. A Q&A session and discussion with the audience followed along with commentary from the panelists.

This was the crowd down the street at the Fox News broadcast. They cheered every time a state was announced for Trump. When I first walked over to observe, they were chanting "USA! USA!" I believe it was after either Florida or Pennsylvania was announced for Trump.

It was hard to believe the NBC and Fox crowds were mere blocks from each other.

Essay: “Stolen Election?” at wp.me/p4jHFp-en.

Donald Trump, and his foremost lapdog, Ann Coulter, insist that the GOP nomination and election are being “stolen” from The Donald.

Every eligible voter is able to do so in a caucus, a primary, or a conference.

In a farcical column (“It’s Only Trump”), Ann Coulter contends that the GOP’s only hope “lies with Trump and only Trump.” The exact opposite is true!

Donald Trump would be our George McGovern!

There was a guy holding this sign on the corner of St. Paul and Ontario Street in St. Catharines, Ontario today.

I asked if I could take a picture of his sign, he said sure but didn't want to be in the picture. He said he wasn't a clown. He squatted behind the sign as I took the shot. Yeah.

Why do people feel the need to voice their opinions on Donald Trump in St. Catharines, Ontario? You live in Canada.

Hillary Clinton's Midnight Rally--Raleigh North Carolina

... keeping to the high level of last night's GOP debate, I thought I would remind everyone about #lipgate -- popular on Twitter for maybe 5 minutes, as we tried to figure out what was on Ted's mouth. In the next shot, it was gone and he was eating it. YES REALLY, we SAW IT, endless #Cruzbooger tweets and I am glad someone got the screen shot.

Do we TRUST a president who can't even manage his boogers? Can he manage the country in that case? #boogergate

This campaign season has been rancorous in the United States. Yet, at the heart of it all is this simple action. The vote.
