I wonder if the Eid passed or ever did by the poor ones.

Eid ul - Fitr
Yakub Ali house.
Chittagong, Bangladesh.
I was asked to do a comparison between this dolls. So I did ^_^ I have an:
1. EID Asa in NS from 2011, very yellowed. The head is pinkier than the body though.
2. Feeple65 body, 2012, not yellowed, because heeled feets, I ordered this summer matches perfectly.
3. SID Stella WS from 2013, not yellowed, but stands on her heeled feet, that's why she seems taller.
What about my own feelings - I like this hybrids, the range of head movements is greater, than on EID/SID bodies. Color do not match perfectly. Feeple is darker than Iple NS, but can be easily matched by blushing.
I miss Bangladesh on this day. I miss my friends and relatives.
Happy Eid everybody =)
(this was taken in Namibia, aren't they cute? =)
The Eider Duck's have only just started to arrive back at the "Farne Islands" so I was lucky to catch them. They are a very large bird and very colourful also quite graceful for such a size.
Happy Eid!! May the guidance and blessings of Allah be with you and your families. Happy New Year!! I wish you health, happiness and joy in your lives throughout the year. May you all be successful in every endeavor you undertake. God bless you all and keep you safe!!!
Those who are not with their families, wherever you may be around the world, may Allah bring you safely home to their hearts and their arms, soon.
Ameen

Like every year, we went to our local mosque to do the eid prayers.
With every passing year, new faces are added. More importantly, many old faces disappear.
This mosque used to hold a couple of hundred folks in the year 1997 when he moved to this araa, now it holds more than 5000 people.

The tiniest wee eider ducklings. Not able to do much more than bumble in wee circles. Along with their mates and mums.
I enjoyed watching this Eider Duck with its catch. The poor crab did everything it could not to be lunch, but even wrapping itself around the ducks beak didn't help in the end!

Wishing All My Muslim friends Eid Mubarak and Many happy and peaceful days ahead..
Eid ul-Fitr marks the end of the fasting month of Ramadan. This has to do with the communal aspects of the fast, which expresses many of the basic values of the Muslim community; i.e., empathy for the poor, charity, worship, steadfastness, patience etc..

Train journey to home for Eid celebration in 2022, smoother than expected at Chittagong railway station .
My cousin showing off her henna tattoo on Eid! We told her it reminded us of Iron Man's hand blaster! Lol!
Shot with Sigma 30mm f/1.4 wide open at f/1.4.
Also, I dodged and decreased the brightness on just the henna tattoo to make it pop more.

Eid ul Fitr often abbreviated to Eid, is a Muslim holiday that marks the end of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of fasting. Eid is an Arabic word meaning festivity, while Fiṭr means to break the fast and so the holiday symbolizes the breaking of the fasting period. It is celebrated starting on the first day of the Islamic month of Shawwal.
Eid ul Fitr is a three day celebration and is sometimes also known as the Smaller Eid as compared to the Eid ul-Adha that lasts four days and is called the Greater Eid
Muslims are commanded by the Qur'an to complete their fast on the last day of Ramadan and then recite the Takbir all throughout the period of Eid.
