seide tripp pushes the boundaries of second life and inspires me daily. to me, her new art exhibit represents the melting of self perception to expose what's true >> your soul... and i think this is what seide's looks like.

The EGO Project by Laura Kimpton, Mike Garlington and Jonny Hirschmugl is made from sports trophies, religious iconography, cherubs, guns, skulls and other miscellaneous found objects.
Ego is a Latin word meaning "I", cognate with the Greek "Εγώ (Ego)" meaning "I", often used in English to mean the "self", "identity" or other related concepts.
Id, ego and super-ego are the three parts of the psychic apparatus defined in Sigmund Freud's structural model of the psyche; they are the three theoretical constructs in terms of whose activity and interaction mental life is described. According to this model of the psyche, the id is the set of uncoordinated instinctual trends; the ego is the organized, realistic part; and the super-ego plays the critical and moralizing role.
The ego acts according to the reality principle; i.e. it seeks to please the id’s drive in realistic ways that will benefit in the long term rather than bringing grief.

Me he hecho una sesión de fotos con ella porque tengo que cortarla para disfrazarme de Miho (de MegaTokyo): le tengo que recortar el flequillo y por detrás. Pero esta me gusta tanto que lo mismo me pido otra igual (total, para lo que ha costado xDDD).
Así, si la arreglo, podré hacer realidad otro de mis sueños cosplayeros (que se cumplirá en menos plazo de lo que esperaba): disfrazarme de Motoko Kusanagi. Venga, sabiais que lo iba a hacer tarde o temprano, es junto a Faye Valentine mi icono sexual del mundo del anime. Que no me iba a quedar sólo en cortarme el pelo como ella... xD

MOC: Ego Roadster. As I was building this, I realised most of the parts were available to make this legendary colour scheme possible, which I've wanted to do for a while. Quite happy with how this turned out, although it does look much slicker without a minifig in it :)

I have absolutely no confidence. I've always been terrible in social situations because i worry too much about what people think of me. I prefer to keep quiet and stay out of the way, i feel safer that way, but its probably why people get bored of me so quickly. I'm indecisive and awkward, i never put ideas forward because i'm afraid people won't like them. I don't want to be this person anymore, it's not who i really am. The only time i have a little confidence is when i'm working at the pub, I go into barmaid Hayley mode, sort of like an alter-ego because i'm put into a situation where i can't shy away because it's my job to talk to people. I need to find a way of being barmaid Hayley all the time.
