Taken at the Oregon Zoo lights.

Antique effect displayed in portrait collage.

Kept trying different objects. I liked learning this technique. I'll try again outdoors after dark, too.

The complete effect should have a long, clear attachment going into that clear thing. I kept it off because I liked this look better.

This is the first mosaic I've constructed using Registax-processed AVI files. It was easier to do a crescent moon because the width of a frame at low resolution covers the widest part of the moon, so I only had to make sure I had enough overlap to register the mosaic parts in one dimension. It's a really good (for me) mosaic of a difficult to capture phase of the moon. I'm satisfied. View full size for the full effect.

Have discovered my camera has a "special effects" setting - so experimented with starburst on some christmas lights. This the offices actually work better!

Next saturday, on 26th June, I'm going to get married with Almudena. She is my love, She understand me so well, she used to give me time to play with LEGO. That's the reason why, during the process of construction of this MOC, a smile was in my face.

Simple... I love you, my darling!

It's An Addiction

Canon's "Digital Photo Professional" refuses to handle this image properly. It adds this weird extension to the right side of the image and crops the left.

I think it looks neat :)

Custom Border Effect

Taken at the Lakeside Rodeo. This was my first night rodeo, and I was afraid there wouldn't be enough light for good action shots. I set my ISO to 1600 and shot wide open. Some of my shots when the sky was completely dark and there were only the arena lights were at 1/45 of a second. There was quite a bit of blur to some of the shots, but I think it contributed to the sense of motion and action. Or maybe I'm just rationalizing.

We celebrate light in our pictures. Understanding how light interacts with the camera is paramount to the work we do. The temperature, intensity and source of light can wield different photography effect on the same subject or scene; add ISO, aperture and speed, the camera, the lens type, focal length and filters…the combination is varied and multi-layered and if you know how to use them all, you will come to appreciate that all lights are useful, even those surrounded by a lot of darkness.

We are guided by three passions, simple but overwhelmingly strong, our longing to capture in print, that which is beautiful, the constant search for the one picture, and constant barrage of new equipment and style of photography. These passions, like great winds, have blown us across the globe in search of the one and we do understand the one we do look for might be this picture right here for someone else out there.

We want to thank you for your interest in our work and thanks for visiting our work on Flickr, we do appreciate you and the contributions you make in furthering our interest in photography and on social media in general.

I still like an untamed "natural" effect in my part of the garden. Of course, you could say I'm just too lazy to come out and work on trimming things back! The top of those bright penstemon blooms in the middle are about 3 feet above the ground.

I told these two to stay still, but they were moving, which made this photo look scary but cool!

Accidentally Good for sure!

P.S. Reminds me of the Dementor Effect from the HP3 Movie

'Butterfly Effect' is a fractal displaying several purple butterflies fluttering in the air generating insignificant currents powerful enough to influence hurricanes.

The butterfly effect is a phrase that encapsulates the more technical notion of the choas theory's sensitive dependence on initial conditions. Small variations of the initial condition of a dynamical system may produce large variations in the long term behavior of the system.
