While at NECC '07, I ran into children's book author Peter H. Reynolds of Fablevision, Lauren Elliot, who created the original Carmen Sandiego software, and Bob Barboza, founder of Super School University www.superschooluniversity.com/
www.dailyshoot. My pupils were making models of what they thought the Martian landscape would look like after studying the Spirit of Mars rover pictures. We used strips of modelling clay which gave the lanscapes a stripey look!!
George Cormier? Dave Siemens? While looking at the upcoming syllabus for ltc.umanitoba.ca/wiki/IntroEmergingTech I couldn't help but be struck by the resemblance. (Hopefully both of these great guys will take this in the humorous spirit it is intended.)
