Put new snow tires on my Magnum yesterday. (Yep, snow isn't far away here in northern Canada.)
While I waited for the tire guys to do their thing, I walked around our city's downtown. Very cold wind, but the sun was bright.
This pretty building is all done in some sort of copper overlay on the windows. It looks so great reflecting the clouds.

Midsummer twilight in Edmonton at 10.36 pm, looking to dowtown from the River Valley Overlook in Strathcona. The arch bridge is the Walterdale Bridge, 56 metres high and completed in 2017, a replacement for a decaying 1913 bridge in the same location.

Towers in Edmonton are dressing up for the night. The latest being 'Edmonton House' in blue light.

No, these are not those cute KLM houses.
This new development is quite striking in Edmonton, Alberta. Some people love it and others not so much. I think it is a welcome change from the dull, boring, regular strip malls that we encounter so many times in the city.
Thought it looked a bit too canadian so made it into a Delfts Blue scene. Hope you like it. I do! ... ofcourse I am biased ;)

Faint noctilucent clouds appear west over Edmonton, Alberta. Only the second time I've seen them with a strong westerly appearance.
After working Jasper Ave at sunset, walked east toward the Hyatt Place. Looked fantastic as usual but surrounded by decay and unfinished work. Ugh. That's why I included the tilting street light, black/orange barriers, etc.
Gorgeous and visionary, hope it's not a 'bridge too far' as the Quarters District is slowly rejuvenated.
