I wanted to release this a while ago (before the Sinistre eyes), but i changed them a lot, to a point where they barely look like the first editions...
A summer run of Ansco’s Rio Grande Ski Train threads 75-foot Tunnel 29 westbound just east of Pinecliffe, Colorado, on June 16, 2001.
Took a bit of a cycle ride out into the countryside late this afternoon. Ended up in a churchyard of a small village where I noticed this feather stuck in a pruned yew tree.
The title is an allusion to a contact who seems to have recently specialised in 'found feather' shots :-)

This shot of a curly fence in Brooklyn Heights made me think of looking inside a wave. Here are some surfer terms defined: "The barrel is where the wave is hollow when it is breaking. Surfers love to be in the barrel, otherwise known as the tube or green room." HFF everyone, and may your weekend be totally tubular.
Alas, behold the humble fin! Nine years earlier in 1948, and preceding what most will say the rear fin began, it was here on the all new look 1948 Cadillac when the fin first appeared. This was before Virgil Exner's finned beauties on the later fifties Chrysler Corp cars, and even before Kenny Rogers and The First Edition! Cadillac maintained fins of various sizes throughout the remaining 12 model years, and most would agree that they reached their ultimate, most outrageous size in their 1959 models. By 1961, Cadillac's fins were all but gone, and have remained gone since. Will they ever come back...who knows? Fashion trends have a way of doing that, so for now, it'll be a wait and see.

I have two of the same kind of maple trees in my front yard. I'm so enjoying them but not many days are left as their leaves are falling off very fast...then there's nothing but those brown twirly seeds pods left...they're such a mess and so annoying! lol...oh well. Guess I'll have something to do this weekend...augh!
