I had lots of fun playing with the photo. I could not find a texture that I liked on it. So I ended up editing it in LR and then in Totally Rad.. Fun. Fun...

Week 9 Assignment

After working in Photoshop, I brought my fixed photo into Lightroom and did more editing. I reduced the clarity on her skin and face to make it softer. I worked a lot with the Adjustment Brush this week to fix specific areas. For example, I used it to reduce the redness on her face and lighten the bags under her eyes. I really sharpened her eyes because she has dark brown eyes. I also whitened her teeth and up the saturation on her lips slightly as well. I warmed up her skin because she looked pretty pale in the original photo. I really like the vignetting in this edit. It really separates her from the background and makes the lighting pop and give it a warm glow.

Ah yes, another instant when powers are used for good; subtle sweetenings.
