Editing photos on Flickr

This is an edited version of my "Dunoon Blackbird" photo. This version has the colour-noise removed (thus it looks blurred). The statue, bird, and fly have been slightly expanded. A grey gradient has gone over the top of the photo to calm the over-saturated blue.

Summits of statues are convenient places to see and be seen, for a blackbird.

The sea is the confluence of the Holy Loch and the Firth of Clyde, near the town of Dunoon.

The statue is of Highland Mary, lover of Robert Burns, the poet.

I decided to edit this photo by taking it back to nature, I selected myself and the other person and I chose to add a tree overlay, and then I changed the sea to a blue colour and used the mask tool to edit out the people in the background.
