Carter took this in Starbucks. We were taking a break from hunting geocaches. Walked ~4.5 miles today on this hike. Found 3 caches.

A while back I snagged an old Polaroid Land Camera on eBay, which unfortunately didn't work very well. The battery connections were shot and the film was held so tightly inside the camera that it was impossible to pull an exposed shot out from it.

This is Ed.

Ed is very good at taking things apart and putting them back together with only a few extra pieces left over.

Ed and I took the Polaroid apart, cleaned it up, forcibly removed a few bits that didn't seem too important and put it back together again.

It's now held together with sellotape, duct tape and a large dose of sheer willpower - but it works!

(Yes I know this particular shot is underexposed but I can work on that.)

American, a former adherent of the Tongil Family ("the moonies"). Author of a book about his experiences.

These stand up kids made the best stand up characters ever today! Thank you to our Director at Belleuve, Jane Archer, for teaching everybody how to relax and breathe and imagine their characters before picking their pencils up. Then volunteers, Elana Amity, Barbara Garrison, Stefano Imbert, Eleanor Rahim, Nathan Schreiber and Ed Steckley helped the kids coax personalities up out of the paper like Pizza Man and a balloon loving tourist crocodile!
