driver's ed mutiny is my sister's latest independent film project. she is the producer & director of photography (cinematographer). she'll be shooting later this summer and my family has agreed to go along for the adventure :) we'll be traveling from iowa to california and back via route 66....should be fun!

I hiked the Superior Hiking Trail section this spring, and my husband did approximately half of it with me. I wrote about my hike for the Star Tribune. Ed and I also hiked about 60 miles of the NCT in Wisconsin, from Copper Falls to Drummond. Thank goodness there are some shelters on the NCT. One day it poured the entire day during our Wisconsin hike, but we were able to bypass the campsite we'd planned to stay at to get to a shelter 5 miles down the trail. The extra miles were worth it!
