Fort Wayne economic entertainment industrial gentrification complex aka economic development to help the middle/upper middle class be entertained and "developed". It is stupid to do economic development to help the poor. They AIN"T GOT NO MONEY...duh! The city is re-developing another retail, "art",cultural, enRICHment multi-use building for white folk. Which is why a city of 300K people has a 3rd world bus system.

History: The Administration Building was built in 1895, with the east wing being added in 1913. The building once housed all the departments on the station. OARDC is the research arm of The Ohio State University College of Agriculture.
Holiday lights are shining a little greener this winter in several remote First Nations
communities that are making big strides to reduce their reliance on diesel fuel.
In 2016, First Nations communities in BC received approximately $3.2 million through the First
Nations Clean Energy Business Fund more than $2.2 million through revenue-sharing
agreements and nearly $1 million in capacity and equity funding.
Pictured: T’Sou-ke Nation became the first Aboriginal community in the world to be designated a solar community. They have installed three solar demonstration projects. One demonstrates how remote ‘off grid’ communities can economically switch from diesel to solar. Learn more about this:http://climate.gov.bc.ca/feature/solar-powered-tsou-ke/

Despite its dark hue, the future of Northeast coal is brighter than ever. Coal mining is the reason Tumbler Ridge was built, and it is driving a new period of growth in the local economy. Insatiable Asian steel markets continue to fuel demand without a slowdown in sight. Coal mining pays some of the highest wages in the country, so the increasing number of jobs being created is welcomed with open arms by local and regional businesses.

Southwest Bangladesh is frequently hit with cyclones, floods, and droughts, which makes life difficult for farmers. As a result, many families struggle to put nutritious food on the table and too many children are malnourished. USAID's Nobo Jatra project, implemented by World Vision, is working to change that. One of the many ways Nobo Jatra is intervening is by training and empowering farmers with climate-smart techniques, sustainable production methods, and increased access to markets... and it’s changing lives for farmers in the region! Just ask Sabita Sarder, a mother and farmer. Before Nobo Jatra, Sobita's land was barren and her family struggled to make ends meet. But then Sobita was trained in climate-smart farming and became a lead farmer in her community so she could show others how to replicate success. Now, just a year later, Sobita has won a government award for her lush, chemical-free farm, which yields more than enough produce for her family, with plenty to sell at the market for additional income.
