The First time I saw First in on the 57 was when the iBus became a thing, and I saw centre staircase TNs I believe, which looked really odd at first but at the exact same time it fit really well.

New March 2010 to First Capital as VN37857 for route 259 at Northumberland Park (NP), Go-Ahead bought the garage and recoded all the buses there. The 259 was lost and the 131 was gained both with similar PVRs, so the 131's just deserts are some ex-Firsts.

Since mid-2024 D&G Bus has been in the process of receiving what will ultimately be 16 Volvo B8RLEs with MCV Evora bodywork. 15 of those are currently in service with the final example due into service any time now. The penultimate example of the batch to hit the road was 6011 (BU25 ZCT), which is one of five that will carry this livery for the Orange One route between Meir and Wood Lane. The Sunday service runs under contract to Staffordshire County Council between Audley and Newcastle-under-Lyme, and it is while working that duty the bus is seen pausing in the former mining village of Silverdale.

Wright Streetdeck manufactured by Wrightbus, Ballymena, Northern Ireland, is an integral, double decker, with a Daimler OM934 5.1 litre 4-cylinder diesel engine running through a Voith ZF EcoLife transmission.
Production buses are in service with Brighton & Hove, First Group, and Go-Ahead subsidiaries.
SL15 ZGP, allocated the Stagecoach fleet number 80028, is based at Walkergate depot in the east of the city for two weeks, to be run out on the 38 cross town Freeman Road - Whickham View route. Today was its first outing. Stagecoach bosses wish to compare it with the current Alexander Dennis E400 diesel buses.
I would doubt that this experiment will lead to any purchases, as Stagecoach has financial and trading links with Alexander Dennis bus manufacturer.

Scania 36 is seen working service 15 turning into Museum Street.
36 is a Scania CN230UD OmniCity. 36 started life with First London as SN36054 working service 207. Metroline London acquired the batch of Scanias when it took over tender for the 207 and it was renumbered as SN1942. Ipswich Buses purchased a batch of 18 Scania Deckers in 2017 which where all single door converted. 36 has a in house fabricated tree bar across the upper deck window to prevent smashes from tree branches. 36 has received the name Kevin Beattie now that sister Scania 46 has been withdrawn. 36 is powered by a Scania DC9 i5 coupled to a ZF Ecolife gearbox.

New September 2011 intended for Camberwell (Q) for 12 but diverted to Mandela Way (MW) for 453, both routes converting from articulated single decker 'bendies' to double deckers because mayor policy. Later both routes converted to New Bus for London operation and released buses to indirectly cascade Scanias off the face of Go-Ahead's fleet. Namely 453's 61-reg reallocated to Camberwell (Q)'s 68/468 and their B7TLs to Metrobus to withdraw their Scanias.
Later the 68 was converted to New Bus for London and saw this and E186/7 move to 213 in swap for E58-60 upon 213's contract renewal.

D&G Bus at its Adderley Green depot is now up to seven of these 10.8m Volvo B8RLEs with MCV Evora bodywork. Six are in yellow Nines livery but the seventh is in the revised standard scheme of red and blue. Rumour has it that five more are due for the Orange One, and/or four others for Crewe depot. When four Alexander Dennis Enviro200s delivered in late 2023 are considered, the fleet has already seen 11 new buses over the past 12 months - an unprecedented level of investment although one that was perhaps well due.
Adderley Green has a solitary Saturday turn on otherwise Crewe depot-operated route 85 between Newcastle and Nantwich. The red B8RLE, 6007 (BU74 YSH) was very surprisingly allocated to it on 19 October and here the new bus, on its sixth day in service, is seen in Keele university amid some autumn leaves while working a Nantwich-bound journey.
Purchase of these Volvos is notable, as D&G has typically avoided heavyweight buses and they are in fact the first such new examples to join its fleet.
Nevertheless, even though money is being spent on new vehicles, the service offered remains generally poor, where lost mileage is seen as an occupational hazard.
Taken at 39th Street & 9th Avenue in Sunset Park, Brooklyn.
Operating on the B35 to Brownsville.
