About:
After the night on board of the Navigator, the weather was still cloudy, but slowly the sun started to break the clouds and we were surprised by a real 'eyegasm' for three hours.
This is the second upload were you can witness the sun piercing hole in the clouds to light up parts of the Fjord sides.
This picture is actually taken 13 minutes later then my previous upload but it was shot in the other direction, that's why you can see more clouds in this picture than in the other one.
Location:
Doubtful Sound, New Zealand
This image is also geotagged (tag is approximately now, no real gps data available)
Technical stuff:
Almost SOOC, Just some selected high-pass sharpening, added slight clarity & slight vibrance

I took this moments after taking the last of the video time lapse shots. I noticed that this swarm of birds appeared.
Blue jays are incredibly gorgeous birds but they are sadly much maligned by some in the birding community and the bulk of that dislike for Blue jays came from the patron saint of birding, John Audubon. He said this about the bird, "Who could imagine,” he mused, “that a form so graceful, arrayed by nature in a garb so resplendent, should harbour [sic] so much mischief;—that selfishness, duplicity, and malice should form the moral accompaniments of so much physical perfection!”
Happily the image of the Blue jay is improving as we learn even more about these incredibly gregarious and intelligent birds.

You can't really tell from this pic, but the piece underneath was pretty badly damaged by some tags and an unfinished throwie. Ran out of black on this one...
From a switch up wall we did a while ago. Couldn't remember where I saved this flick and discovered it today on a portable drive...
