First Cymru has received its fair share of cascaded Pointer-bodied Darts over the years.
The latest batch, badged as Alexander Dennis, are 05- and 06-plate, which are currently transferring from the West of England fleet. These are seeing off the oldest native examples, sadly including South Wales Transport heritage liveried 42693.
To add to the livery variety, 42962, latterly based at Weston-Super-Mare depot, carries North Somerset Council's 'Express Yourself' scheme, which was replaced last year by the orange 'Excel' version.
In this late May 2018 shot, she is leaving Swansea's City Bus Station when operating for Swansea Ravenhill depot. She is followed by Optare Solo 53063, which did have the accolade as being the last 'Barbie'-liveried vehicle in the fleet until the recent arrival of Pointer-bodied Dart 42906 from First West of England.

Metra 175, having just returned from rebuild and repaint, leads unit 423 on train 413 to Joliet. This paint scheme looks amazing on the F40's, can't wait to see more of them. 423 is also a recent rebuild from an MP36PH-3S into an MP36PH-3C, and it looks just as fresh as the 175. Unfortunately this is a one-time thing on this line as both units are to return to their originally-assigned lines tomorrow, it was definitely worth being late to class for this. 9/6/16

MARC cab car 7100 brings up the rear of an express at Riverdale MD on the afternoon of April 26, 1995. GP40W #60 was leading. The train made no stop here and indeed will make it's next stop at the new Greenbelt MARC/Metrorail station a few miles ahead where the Capitol Beltway crosses the Camden Line. MARC 7100 was originally built for the B&O in February 1951 as their 293A and was a "phase 1" F7 as evidenced by the shorter cab side windows. Phase 2 F7s have the taller side windows.

No. 6046 was built as works no.70280 by the Baldwin Locomotive Company in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA, and the locomotive was exported to France in 1945 to help with the war effort.
Once her use with the French SNCF 6046 was sold to Hungary where she worked for the state railway before being withdrawn.
Having passed through a number of owners since then restoration was completed at the Churnet Valley Railway in 2012. The big 2-8-0, engine is on loan to the NYMR for the main season and has put on some spectacular displays on the climb from Grosmont.
She is seen here having arrived at Pickering with a mid-morning train from Grosmont.

Hop aboard the Stagecoach Express and travel across the wintery wild west in style!
So here it is, my entry to the BDP series 8!..
I always wanted to build a smaller model and with just above 500 parts, this one turned out really nice. It is actually a re-build of an older MOC of mine, adjusted for the BDP-parts palette.
The coach itself is easily removable from the base, with the flexible ball joint connection it can be played with or positioned at your liking.
Two passengers can fit in the cabin, the roof is removable. Two small trees, a telegraph line and some frozen plants break up the plain white snow-landscape. A little surprise waits at the back: a small rabbit in his little burrow, hiding from the scary owl on the telegraph pole.
And YOU can help turn this into a real set! Just head over to Bricklink and leave a "😍".
