Expired film I left unprocessed for a long time. Obviously light leaked in too.

Pushing the limits on some very expired film. The film expired 23 years ago and I developed it with the same batch of Diafine that I've been using for 13 years! Wonderful results if you like grain.... :)

The crew of the WS-2 was at the controls after relieving the expired SU-100 crew at Sparta just over an hour before. WS-2 was only able to get the train as far as Wortendyke where they too expired. The rest of the morning was spent waiting for the third relief crew next to the former NYS&W passenger station.

I got a box with old camera parts and a box of 667 and one with 669 film.
The 667 cartridge had turned into a solid block of rust but the 669 still has some life in it.

I spent six months in the west living outside and am currently processing and scanning my bag of expired film.
1982 expired no-name brand color 126 film shot this year in my Keystone 125x Instamatic. The look of poorly stored, super expired film. On the plus side - I salvaged the cartridge and the backing paper so I can now load fresh 35mm into the cartridge!
Hop processed in the FPP C-41 Kit.

Taken by our youngest, she joined me on a trip to the Sir Tatton Sykes Monument near Sledmere in East Yorkshire several months ago when we enjoyed a good display from the Aurora borealis (Northern Lights), but where I was shooting using the DSLR, she was keen to have a go with one of my old 35mm film cameras, a Nikon FM2 with a Nikkor 24mm f/2.8 AI manual focus super-wideangle lens and loaded with expired (1999) Kodak Elitechrome II 400 ASA slide film. We used the DSLR to gauge exposure and added some for reciprocity failure, hoping exposures would be about right. After getting the film back from commercial E6 processing, I must admit we were pleasantly surprised that the guess had proved pretty good and the exposures were decent. This slide film had fairly pronounced grain when processed within its expiry dates, so the grain is quite pronounced in these images, but I posted them for curiosity value. The slides were scanned using a Plustek 8200 Ai film scanner to DNG raw files and processed out to jpegs using Capture One Pro 23.
