Usually, I've almost always had a good luck with expired film, in the last decade and a half, I can remember only of a few rolls where the film expired in a bad way, and if it was that way, the expiry date was always at least a decade before. This film, on the contrary, expired exactly a decade ago, so a one-stop push should have been enough. It was, but the film expired more than I was expecting.
Here, a photo taken during my summer break, on island Pag, Croatia - the sun is about to dip below the horizon, as seen from a car ferry travelling from Prizna on the coast to Žigljen, on the island.

Even after Bristlecone trees have expired, they can stand for years still looking quite impressive. These trees grow very slow and the wood is very dense which allows them to maintain their beauty even after they have passed on.

I think this is the best colours i've ever got from Fuji C200 :D ..I love experimenting! (I actually prefer this to the Budapest Hasselblad images too..)
I don't like wasting things and when you by a 5L C41 Tetanol kit you get 100ml of each chemical left if you make 2x 1L batches. Today I decided to add some open but recent 100ml developer to some open from 2018 developer and try to develop some film. I didn't mind Lomo / wacky colours as standard correct colours can often be quite boring. I developed 1 roll as I was not sure if I would get anything and my times and temps were "common sense" and not by the book. I was delighted to see photos on the first roll, which dates back to 2016! so I developed 5 more rolls.

I find that about 1 out of 10 vintage cameras at antique stores have a roll of film in them. And most stores will either give you the roll or sell you it for a buck or two. Here's one from a Kodak Brownie, found at an antique store in Hopland, CA. Developed this C22 color process film in HC110 for 14 minutes.
...the headphones meant i was coming out of hibernation and out walking again. almost spring. you could feel it.

for once, i wish it were winter again, with shorter days...so staying inside felt cozy and fun again.
i was able to get some film developed last week. i'm afraid the lab will shut down and i won't be able to shoot color anymore. :(
over the weekend, my panic list included: fresh chemicals to develop b&w, batteries for my stationary bike, toothpaste, toilet paper, quinoa and soup.
I got the first 3. who knows when the rest will be back..

This film expired before i was even born...was a strange feeling somehow, id love to know what this thing did in his lifetime...where it went, incredible. Was kinda sad as i took the film out of the spool cause it looked so dark but it scanned wonderful and it got some beautiful colors! Exposed at ISO 20-40( is a 160 film)
