Not a real space photo. Light art. No Photoshop manipulations. Single exposure: gas clouds/nebula created using Waterworld technique (100mm lens); background/foreground stars 16-35mm lens, LED/laser/plastic.
Now, this looks Christmassy!
Bridge was acting up, so after I fixed it I worked on this : )
With a bit of a reverse vignette in Raw, for a more ethereal look.
The Bank of China Tower is distorted. It will be better next time.
My second attempt is in here: www.flickr.com/photos/d-k-t/5308985251
When I just finished the shot for the top of Bank of China, the lens aperture got stuck. I couldn't got more shots for the top part, so the shot is distorted.
How unsharp becomes sharp when one looks up close.
These twelve photos were done with an old, 6x6 Ikonta folder, handheld, with roughly 2s shutter time.
Spring 2017 polaroid week
day 4
trial & error - first time attempting a layered emulsion lift & it did not go as I had envisioned. that's okay, though, now I know more than I did before.
This is an experiment with a (for me) new type of lightning tool. It is a bit brighter than I would like and I will have to experiment a bit to find a real use for it.
Still I thought the outcome was at least moderately interesting.
This texture was NOT done in Photoshop. It's all in-camera.
I thought I'd give Through the Viewfinder (TtV) a try, but I never do things the normal way. Instead of using a twin lens camera to focus an image onto ground glass, I thought I'd just use an enlarger lens to focus an image onto homemade screens made of various materials (so far tissue paper and wax paper).
See the setup here
I had a long and good chat with one of my freinds this night and it really got me exited to try something new, so this is an experimental series of shots and im pretty happy how the pictures came out with this easy but strange method!
INKS..EXPERIMENTAL ABSTRACT
Enjoying a time of experimenting.
This is done with Acrylic Inks, India Ink, and a Micron Pen
An experimental shot for college, like?
I achieved this look by firstly shooting in RAW; then, in Photoshop, I altered the image qualities to achieve the highest contrast possible before increasing the exposure heavily.
I was just playing around with some food colouring and ended up with this rather abstract piece. It definitely looks like something to me but will let you make your mind up
As you can tell from the title, I'm experimenting with a new podbike frame. It started as a table's crap then evolved into a more rugged off-roader variation of my podbikes. Excuse the lack of a second blue bar in the front wheel; I've used all the rest.
Compared to my Corporation Podbike, this lies slightly closer to the ground, but it can be elevated for the use of suspension.
I will probably revisit this frame during next week (I'm on holiday though, so don't expect too much) and refine it to a much more pleasing aesthetic.
