Quite possibly one of my favorite photos from the trip. It doesn't look like Italy, but it means something to me.

These were responses to Frontier fates that student had to answer very quickly. Time was allotted for group discussion and decision making and then as a group they were to write a paragraph about what they chose to do and why they made that decision. This paragraph met me expectations because it is a paragraph in length and they answered the question of what they chose and why they chose it. Neater handwriting was emphasized for future frontier fate write ups.

The expectations build up, each one a new brick on the growing wall that lies between who I am and who you want me to be.

for all you night owls still up: have a good sleep!

This was the most colorful moment before the sunrise . More clouds moved in later and by the time the sun came up it was overcast.

We went to dinner with Ryan and Sue at Ivory, a buffet Indian restaurant, and afterwards we went for dessert here! It's been around for a very long time and is a kind of institution in Winnipeg - Sue said her mom used to go on dates there when she was young!
