Question regarding focus peaking:
I found that the focus peaking without magnification is not very precise in the field, i.e. it is rather highlighting a lot of area in front of and behind the actual focal plane. So, with magnification it is better in this regards, but with magnification there is very often no highlihting at all (I used low, high, different colors), so I found myself assessing the focus by the naked eye as with any modern DSLR viewfinder, but with lower resolution (EVF vs. OVF).
Did you notice something similar? Did you experience it being different with better glass (i.e. more contrast)?
Question regarding blown highlights:
As for the image quality in terms of highlight recovery ... could you please have a look at the yellow flower in my image, I hardly ever experienced such blown highlights with the Nikon which could not be revovered. Plus, the flower looks plasticky. It was a cloudy day. So I think I would have to permanently underexpose to avoid that...?
What are your thoughts and experiences.
I shot raw(+jpg) and used Capture One Pro (the jpg looks rather similar).
