Old ex-soviet and Hungarian equipment at the military park. / Régi szovjet / magyar katonai járművek a katonai parkban Szántód mellett.
There was a large military vehicle show near Szantod, at Lake Balaton in Hungary. I went in and took pictures, but only three of my kids came with me - the others decided to stay in the van.
Katonai jármű-show Szántód mellett, a komphoz vezető úton. Én bementem fényképezni, de csak három gyerek jött velem, a többiek inkább az anyjukkal maradtak a mikrobuszban.

Look up at the ceiling. Unlike the typical black ceiling of a trade show, the building emphasizes the structure's loft area, giving it a re-claimed industrial look that is both contemporary and evocative of the past. Reminded me of the use of the loft area in Nashville's Lane Automotive Museum that is housed in a former bread factory -- except on a massive scale.

Look what crawled into the Pequot Museum this week ... giant bugs. Get a bug’s-eye view of some common backyard insects and their habitat in Backyard Monsters, the newest exhibit in the Mashantucket Gallery on Saturday, Feb. 16-May 17, 9 am-5 pm. Step into a world where insects tower over humans. Giant robotic insects up to 96 times their normal size, all with lifelike colors and movements, dominate the exhibition. Come face to face with an animated 11-foot-tall, 22-foot-long tarantula, a 19-foot-wide monarch butterfly, and a pair of giant fighting beetles. Hands-on displays let you take a mechanical insect for a walk, build a bug, learn how insects communicate, make a bug rubbing, and more. With a focus on nature and natural history, the exhibit is educational while capturing the attention and imagination of children and adults. Free with Museum admission, free to Museum members.
The first display case as you enter the exhibit containing Fairport Convention violin player Ric Sanders' violin, signatures of John and Deborah Bonham and Robert Plant; plus various tickets and photographs. There is also a wristband and backstage pass from Robbie William's Knebworth performance. The cases at the exhibit are stuffed with interesting items!
