Taken earlier in the week.

Empire State Building, New York City, NY, USA

This is the companion to the other interior of the ESB. Although absolutely beautiful it wasn't quite as impressive as I remembered. I had visited New York once before during a blizzard and New York and the ESB were both closed. The foyer was all I could see.

Stumble It!

This will be the last of the super cliches, I had to get it out of my system. But I like the image all the same. For the technical: Infrared converted camera then silver efex pro2, high structure setting.

The Empire State Building is communicating with higher intelligence.

Many a long half hour I have waited there to catch the train to Paris. Taken with my parents Pentax Spotmatic, a week or so before my first photography class.

Long Exposure from the ESB observatory. Thank God for my Gorillapod!

Fire Escape at the Empress State Building in West Brompton, London. Dedicated to my wife who finally escaped her job in this building after a couple of unhappy years...good riddance to it and to a brighter future!

Looking up at the Empire State Building from the sidewalk on the 34th street.

Was going through some old shots and came across this one from July 2010 from Top of The Rock in New York City. This was an intense week for me. The weather was perfect, the summer sky took its sweet time setting, and before they closed the top due to lightning I came away with this.
