ESA welcomed a record number of visitors to its tenth Industry Space Days on 28–29 September 2022 at ESTEC, its technical centre in the Netherlands.
This B2B event offers Europe's space industry the chance to find out about future ESA programmes, showcase their products, services and technologies, network, and meet potential business partners in thousands of one-on-one pre-arranged meetings.

Dins el municipi de Yesa (en euskera Esa) es situa el monestir de San Salvador de Leyre (en euskera Leireko monasterioa). Els orÃgens es remunten a la baixa edat mitjana, però va ser incendiat pels musulmans al segle X i el rei Sanç Garcia va encarregar-ne la seva reconstrucció el 1020. Els seus sòlids murs són testimonis de la llegenda de Sant Virila, l'abat que va quedar extasiat durant 300 anys en sentir cantar un ocellet a prop del monestir, lloc del que raja la font de que en duu el seu nom.
Leyre no va aconseguir escapar a la desamortització de Mendizábal i va estar deshabitat entre 1836 i 1954, quan es van establir els monjos benedictins de Santo Domingo de Silos.
La part més espectacular del conjunt és la cripta, del segle XI, que també és la part més antiga. L'estret recinte, on s'acumulen masses de pedra, amb fusts d'escassa altura i robustos capitells invertits aconsegueix estremir i és una clara mostra de la sobrietat i enginy propis del romà nic més arcaic.
La seva austeritat contrasta amb la decoració de les portades de l'església abacial, especialment amb la de la porta speciosa, un altre dels grans tresors del cenobi. Data del segle XII i està adornada amb elements de la Ruta Xacobea. És una autèntica bÃblia en pedra. Altres elements de gran interès són la portada sud del segle XII, la portada de l'església abacial (XI), el pas subterrani de la cripta i la capella del SantÃssim (1501-1536), que conté un retaule i escultures de Juan de Berroeta (XVII).
A l'interior de l'església, iniciada en estil romà nic, la gran nau central data del segle XI, però la volta ja és gòtica, una de les ogives més belles existents a Navarra. Després d'una reixa d'estil gòtic tardà hi ha el panteó dels primers Reis de Navarra i amb ell es venera el "Crist de Leyre", una enorme talla del segle XVI.
El bell entorn natural que acompanya el monestir de Leyre explica que al llarg de la seva història hagi estat refugi de reis i bisbes, icona de Navarra i escenari de celebracions oficials. Buscant el veïnatge de la muntanya, el monestir es va construir a la falda de la serra del mateix nom, en un lloc apartat, mirador obert cap pics propers i llunyanes cadenes muntanyoses, naturalesa embellida per l'aigua de tons verds i blaus l'embassament de Yesa.

The 11th annual ESA Open Day at ESA’s technical centre in Noordwijk, the Netherlands, took place on the weekend of 1 and 2 October 2022. On 1 October, visitors with disabilities had the opportunity to follow the tour at their own pace. On both days visitors were able to meet astronauts, space scientists and engineers and learn all about the work carried out at Europe’s largest space establishment.

After just two years in orbit, ESA's GOCE satellite has gathered enough data to map Earth's gravity with unrivalled precision. The resulting information enabled the GOCE team to render an animated 'GOCE Globe' from which I extracted appropriate frames, in order to construct the anaglyph images.
