A lovely very old ash pollard up at Watendlath

MOMENTOS.

Lo que da sentido a la vida son los momentos. Hay quien les da mucha importancia y quien los deja pasar como si nada sucediera.

momentos que para el mundo igual son una mierda y para ti significan todo.

MOMENTOS.

DISFRUTADLOS.

The base of the tree made me think of Tolkien. Old scan from film.

Seguro que J.R.R. Tolkien se baso en algun arbol de este tipo para imaginarse a los Ents.

Beacon Hill Park

Victoria, B.C.

It's not really an Ent. Just a tree, but a magnificent, gnarled old thing. I'm not really sure what kind it is but I think it may be an oak. I apologize to those who like to classify things, I am normally one of those myself but I had far too many other things to see that day.

Update: I've done a bit of research and I now believe this tree is a Sequoia. It is not native to British Columbia but several Sequoias were planted in this area of the park in 1913.

"Eye" HMM :)

I was actually right next to this tree when I checked on my phone to see what this weeks theme was, the little hole looked so much like an eye I knew straight away what I would be doing. This is my daughters eye photoshoped into the little hole.
