A robin in our back garden landing on the fork Rachel wasn't at that point using. This is not a Photoshop job!! (Well, beyond a crop, levels, slight sharpen.) I just happened to have the macro lens (f=105mm) on the camera, which helped.
Never give up on a dream or a plan however hard it might be whatever obstacles are in your way, keep the faith and the end goal in mind and with a lot of hard work and a little bit of luck you will succeed ...... this image has taken so many hours and a lot of patience i've lost count of the obstacles and the doubt of will i ever get the shot i'm after BUT here i am finally posting an image i had visualized it makes every minute worth it!! Thankfully in these trying times i can photograph such beautiful wildlife from my garden, stay safe out there my friends x

I enjoy shots looking at the radiant of a meteor shower, makes me feel like I'm on a space ship cruising out into the galaxy. This one's got it all, the Perseid shower, airglow, Milky Way, Pleiades, Andromeda, and more!
This is a stack of about 60 of the shots I took with my Nikon D600 and Rokinon 24mm f1.4 lens on a Sky Watcher Star Adventurer mount. Each shot was 15 seconds at ISO 1600 and f1.4.
Helm lay in a course for sector 221-G Warp Five.
Got a new light tent for Christmas and playing around with it. Hopefully this will be the first of many new pictures!

Tyne and Wear Archives presents a set of images taken by the Newcastle-based firm Turners (Photography) Ltd. They were taken by the firm on is own account for possible use in their advertising campaigns. Turners frequently hired models to help promote their work and to encourage sales in their shops. Some of the shots are humorous or bizarre while others are quite suggestive.
The images are fascinating for what they tell us about the times that produced them – the fashions, the attitudes, the technology … Most of the images are quirky and almost seem to invite comments. If you’d like to suggest alternative captions we’d be delighted to hear them!
