Well, some smoke at sunrise anyway. I'm always experimenting and playing around. Here's a cool song named "Burn" covered rather nicely by Postmodern Jukebox. www.youtube.com/watch?v=LZY9_Xr5XPA

“Summer has always been good to me, even the bittersweet end, with the slanted yellow light.”
—Paul Monette
And this image concludes my three part series. I hope you enjoyed it! I found these grasses potted in the common area next to the building you see in the previous image (Local Zen Spaces). They just looked so beautiful to me in the early morning light.
I also completed my goal of posting 100 photos on Flickr for 2021 (this is the amount you need to fill the first page of your photostream). I wanted page one to only be images posted in 2021, so I’m happy to have completed this small goal for myself already. Yay! ✨
A very happy midweek to all of you. <3 Thank you again for everything. I’m so grateful for your presence here! xo
A single Pano-Sabotage shot taken on June 12, 2015 in Times Square, New York, overlaid with the same shot only expanded in size and moved off-centre to create a kind of "structural shimmering". This method harkens back to my student days when I would deliberately print layers off-register when doing silkscreens to achieve a slightly disorienting 'vibrating' effect.
Number 3 in a series of "End Game" images that deal with the notion that we've gone too far in our relationship with the planet. In nature there are usually disastrous results for any species that overpopulates and destroys its own environment. Why would we be different ?
This final image created May 17, 2018.

A nice sunset at the end of our first "full" day of fall harvest. This year's harvest is running way behind normal, but corn moisture is still running in the mid to high 20's. Corn is stored at around 15%,so the cost and time to dry it down is exorbitant. We have a good dryer on the farm, many don't.And the fall weather so far...don't get me started!

No trip to Cornwall is complete without visiting Land's End, it's a paid parking theme park as well as a natural attraction, being there on a holiday weekend didn't help, luckily I arrived early enough to take one daytime long exposure before the clouds covered the sky, and the human zoo covered everything else a few minutes later.

Open Ended
The sculpture Open Ended by the American artist Richard Serra weighs almost 216 tonnes. The corten steel work is 4 metres high, 18 metres long and 7 metres wide. This is a piece full of contrasts: both heavy and elegant, industrial and organic, stately and playful, convex and concave. Six vaulted steel plates moulded together form a maze. Open Ended is a work best experienced by walking through it.
