My 2nd entry for the 15th Colossal Castle Contest, for the “Ye Old Switcheroo” category. I used a technique somewhat similar to my technic rockwork, but using plate modified with clip and handle instead of technic bricks for the cliff, and really like how it turned out.
Getting a dragon’s egg is always a dangerous business. This adventurer thought switching an egg for a similar shaped rock would allow him to make an undetected swap, but will his ploy work?

02/08/2010 at 4:14 am - STS-130 Space Shuttle Endeavor launches into orbit, leaving behind a beautiful trail and reflection on the Intracoastal Waterway. I shot this photo from the Palm Valley Intracoastal Waterway Bridge in Ponte Vedra, Florida, about 115 miles north of the launch pad. In this 132 second time exposure, the waning crescent Moon and stars left their own short trails against the dark sky.
132 sec, f4, ISO 100. Adobe Lightroom 3 to make slight adjustments to white balance, exposure, clarity, vibrance and contrast, Photoshop Elements 8 to add URL to bottom corner.

This is the painting I did for Ken for Christmas, from a shot I took when we were there for the last launch of the space shuttle Endeavour! :) I think it really surprized him!

Auntie Elk, reaching for it. I like challenging them with things like this, on this occasion the three of them circled the tree for a couple of minutes making sure it was a stick and not a snake or something else, usually then Mist sits down and waits, Paddy checks how close Auntie Elk is and whether shes desiring it more than him (he doesn't want to expose himself to attack!) ..and if shes far enough away will just grab it (hes the tallest of the three), on this occasional Elk had the honours

The Mitsubishi Endeavor was introduced in 2007. It was developed for the North American market. All models have a 3.8 litre V6 engine. Sales numbers were quite disappointing, so Mitsubishi ended production in 2011 without a direct successor.
