The Empress Hotel: covered in red ivy thanks to the fact that THEY HAVE SEASONS IN CANADA. Sorry, LA has made me a little bitter about that.

The Empress in Victoria BC.

Our second stop in our five day cruise from Tampa was Havana, a city I have never been - and thought I would never be able to visit. This is the reason we were on the cruise - and it did not disappoint. Here are pictures taken from a crowded sun deck as a large number of people wanted to see the ship enter the Port of Havana. One ship can be there at a time - so the Carnival ship was leaving after being their overnight. The crew put out coffee on the sun deck so we could enjoy it while taking in the experience of entering Havana that morning. Taken on an amazing day in Havana (day three of our cruise) - Friday October 13th, 2017.
