The last few from Elton Hall, which was enjoyable in spite of the dismal weather and not being able to take a single photo inside the house. Not many matching windows on this stretch of wall, but over the centuries I suppose the owners would just insert one when they felt like it (or could afford it).
More from the gardens of Elton Hall before the heavens opened in a torrential outburst. This, I think, is a peahen to go with the peacock.

A westbound grain (or maybe it's fertilizer or something?) train rolls along the Yellowstone River near Elton, Montana, on Montana Rail Link's 2nd Subdivision. The Crazy Mountains loom in the distance.

The Elton Oil Company is a downstream Senegalese owned firm which operates in Gambia & Senegal. It is essentially a retail, marketing & distribution company with a branch network of petrol stations selling gasoline, diesel, gasoil & various lubricants from Castrol & tires from Bridgestone.
They operate the Gambia's first automatic car wash. There is also a car services area as well as a retail shop which which sells a wide range of products from spare parts to lubricants. Other services include a high pressure car wash, tire and oil changes, brake tuning, tracking adjustments and more.
Located on the bottom of the station is Eden's convenience shop selling standard retail products such as toiletries, drinks and snacks. On the top of the station are a range of services such as a cybercafé, a business centre and an open air restaurant serving fish and chips, traditional Gambian dishes and other foods from the menu.

I was SO thrilled to get to see Elton John in Caesar's Palace on my trip! He was fabulous! He rocked it for two solid hours! I sang with every song and I was worn out! LOL! :)
The font has a round bowl on a central stem with four small columns to the sides. The bowl is carved with decorative motifs and to south side it has an extra small bowl supported by a carved dragon or salamander .
When the church was rebuilt between 1806 and 1812, the original font was tossed out into the churchyard until 1833 when it was spotted by the Vicar of Youlgreave, Rev. Pidcock, who removed it to his vicarage garden and used it as an ornament.
His successor Rev. Wilmot, recognising its worth , had it placed in Youlgreave church in 1838. www.flickr.com/gp/52219527@N00/7235GP
Elton in the 1870s asked for it back , which was refused. In an effort to resolve the dispute a Mr. Thornhill of Stanton Hall had an exact replica made in 1879 at his own expense and presented it to the church at Elton
