Undoubtedly, I loved Eddie the first time I ever set eyes on him- climbing the apple tree to get a better look into the house.
He was the owner of the wildest heart I ever experienced in any cat. In the time I knew Eddie, I was never able to get close to him, nor was anyone else. I don't know what his background was that caused his skittishness.
Eddie stayed around the house from winter into summer. He came for food every day and I would talk to him out the window. If I made any attempt to come into the yard while he was there he immediately ran off.
I longed to have Eddie come into the house where I could care for him, but, no deal. He wanted no part of that idea.
One day, he was just gone. I never saw him again even though I searched for him and waited.
I loved Eddie. His wild, wild beauty, his wild, wild heart. Where ever you are, I miss you so, so much. ~*~ Lana
Happy Caturday
Needlework the way, never you betray
Life of death becoming clearer
Pain monopoly, ritual misery
Chop your breakfast on a mirror
Taste me, you will see
More is all you need
Dedicated to
How I'm killing you
Come crawling faster
Obey your master
Your life burns faster
Obey your master, master
The only problem that I have traveling around by car no matter where in the world is trying not stop every two minutes because I see a shot I want to take. PEI is a landscapers dream with backdrops of water, red sandstone cliffs, sandy beaches and verdant forests mixed in with changeable weather and islander propensity to keep things tidy you have plenty to occupy your obsession. This little scene can be found on Eddie Murphy Rd just off the 20 on the way to the Cape Tryon Lighthouse and had the right feel to it or at least enough for me to pull over and set up a shot on this cute little barn.

Rise - Eddie Vedder

Such is the way of the world
You can never know
Just where to put all your faith
And how will it grow?
Gonna rise up
Burning black holes in dark memories
Gonna rise up
Turning mistakes into gold
Such is the passage of time
Too fast to fold
Suddenly swallowed by signs
Lo and behold
Gonna rise up
Find my direction magnetically
Gonna rise up
Throw down my ace in the hole
I was doing some adjusting to my camera when Eddie jumped on the table and gave me a quick glance. A quick snap shot but I like the results.
I'm late to the #strangerthings wave. However, I got my Wacom tablet. I had to try it out on this photo first!

You might be mourning the death of Eddie Van Halen today (October 6th) by listening to one of his many albums, and you may not know the story behind one of his most personal songs. It turns out that the acoustic guitar solo "316" from the 1991 Van Halen album is more than just a pretty song. It's all about the love of a father for his son (via Van Halen News Desk).

I remember that in 1984, I was 11 years old, my parents bought me brother and me a couple of cassettes, it was 1984 by Van Halen and Stay Hungry by Twisted Sister. We were blown away immediately by the electric guitars, mainly from Eddie Van Halen.
In 1992-93, We had the chance to see them live in concert when they played live in Mexico City for their tour for their For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge album. One of the best shows I've ever seen.
Here is my personal rendition to one of the best rock guitar-players ever.

Eddie looking around after going for a walk to check the mail box. Eddie has never been an outside dog so every walk with him was an adventure no matter how short the walk was. Yes, missing my old place this morning.
Eddie looking at something. He is not a good guard dog but a pretty good watch dog. Dawg is backing him up.

"Bad Eddie" (Bád Eddie in Irish) is the wreck of a boat moored on Magheraclogher Beach in West Donegal, Ireland. It has become a popular landmark and an inspiration for artists, photographers, and others. Originally built in France and purchased by a local fisherman, the boat has been a fixture in the landscape since the 1970s.
I have shots of this boat from many different angles - 2 of which have been posted previously. Although I was happy with the composition of this picture the sky was fairly boring so this became my first attempt at using textures - this could become addictive!
or simply 'Eddie'.. my marvelous, wonderful, fun-filled cat .. to see him is to brighten my day!
Thanks for looking in! - Have a great day!

Lumsdale Falls, Matlock
Several shoots of unculled and unprocessed images have been dormant on my hard drive since our Japan holiday so I thought I'd spend the day tidying up my directories and give you all a break from my recent offerings, although I've not finished with Japan yet.
A day out at Lumsdale Falls late October with fellow togs Eddie and Pat in search of flowing water and a chance to have a paddle in our wellies. If you've seen the recent humiliation I've suffered at the hands of Eddie... this is payback time. All puns gratefully received
